"I am sure that many people with cancer will find this book to be a valuable resource; it shows that they are not alone. It demonstrates how it is possible to find a way through the darkness and seemingly insurmountable barriers.
"There are lessons to be learned for the medical community. What comes through is how important communication is, as well as detailed information about treatment, its rational and potential side-effect.
"This is a story of hope and achievement and Jane's book will help many people find their way during a difficult journey."

"... people always find other people's stories of tremendous benefit and I'm sure that Jane's will resonate for many."

"Journey To Me" is the story of my search for meaning after cancer. I kept a journal throughout my year of treatment and this became the bones of my book. It tells the warts-and-all story of what it was like to be diagnosed, the effects of the shock I experienced, the absolute hell that was chemotherapy and the breakdown I suffered afterwards.
However, my aim was to show people that despite this truly horrible experience I did come through it and have made a new life for myself that is better than anything I could ever have imagined. I would still prefer to not have had to go through my cancer experience to get to where I am today!

“Finding Our Life Force”
Compiled by Caro Jonas and Jane Gillespie
The project to bring this book to publication was dear to my heart for many years during my work as a facilitator of cancer support groups and I’m proud that it has finally been published.
It contains a series of unique meditations written by my co-facilitator and co-founder of Life Force Cancer Foundation plus personal stories from cancer patients and their families. We believe the book demonstrates the value of attending cancer support groups. Publication coincides with the 20th Anniversary of Life Force.
What’s next?
Having completed the first draft of my first full-length novel, I am currently in the process of editing and re-writing.
I have many more stories waiting to be written, so watch this space!
